Happy Monday to all.  Lots of big updates, so let's get right into it:

First Loco'l All Hands R&D Session

We had our first Chef Daniel + Chef Roy + Loco'l team all-together-in-1-room R&D session last Friday!  The prototypes were just, amazing.  So delicious already!  Just tasting it inspired and uplifted the whole team, reminded us why we're doing this. The revolution is so tasty already!  Can't wait to share the food with you all!

Roy's Defense of Crowdfunding on Quora

Check out Roy's impassioned defense of what we're doing here -- crowdfunding!  Someone on Quora asked "Why are chefs Roy Choi and Daniel Patterson crowdfunding Loco'l?  Don't they have enough investors?"

BIG UPDATE!  All New and Way Better Rewards!

We heard you guys loud and clear… you guys loved and supported the concept, but not the rewards.  So we spent the last week COMPLETELY REVAMPING them.  Now we have a set of Perks to truly reward our early supporters with great deals.  Take a look, I think you'll agree: http://igg.me/at/locol

TO OUR PREVIOUS BACKERS, we had to hide a few of our old rewards to make space for new ones.  Not to worry!  At a minimum, we're going to honor your previous pledge tiers.  The following backers of these former pledge tiers will be upgraded: 

Anyone who previously backed the former $5 Thank you! perk will be upgraded to the current $5 Digital Recipe Scrapbook perk.  

Anyone who previously backed the former $25 Loco'l Burger perk will be upgraded to the current $25 Loco'l Gift Certificate perk.  More burgers!

Anyone who previously backed the former $40 Loco'l Limited Edition T-Shirt perk will be upgraded to the current $49 Loco'l T-Shirt w/ Superpowers perk.  Score.
